These sites all have some interesting information. Some focus on how other young people feel about sex. Others give out specific information and will answer questions you may have.

The American Social Health Association (ASHA)  If you are looking for an answer to your question on sexually transmitted infections (STIs) or sexual health issues, ASHA has the answers. Our panel of experts - including physicians, nurse practitioners, and other professionals with experience across a range of medical and health specialties - will provide answers and insight a wide range of STI and sexual health topics.

If you are interested in finding out what is being done internationally to promote sexual awareness, or as to how HIV prevention is being taught in the schools stateside, this is the site to go to  TeenAIDS is a charitable organization committed to saving teenage lives around the world by providing outreach and resources on HIV/AIDS. They have volunteers in over 80 countries and provide an extensive website for young people on HIV and AIDS. They also broadcast live webcasts of HIV Awareness events throughout the world.

Teen Wire   Planned Parenthood Federation of America's Teen Wire website provides comprehensive sex education information specifically for teens.

The National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unwanted Pregnancy seeks to improve the lives and future prospects of children and families by preventing teen pregnancy and unplanned pregnancy among single, young adults.

StayTeen  The goal of Stay Teen is to encourage you to enjoy your teen years and avoid the responsibilities that come with too-early pregnancy and parenting.

This site contains information about sexuality, relationships, pregnancy, STDs/STIs, AIDS, communication, contraception, sexual disorders, abortion, anatomy, etc. by offering information through articles and answering questions and answers submitted by readers.

TeenIssues   Based in Europe, this site offers information and advice on a variety of teen issues.

OHSU Center for Women's Health   A huge collection of links to places to get accurate and safe information on women's health.

Sexual Assault and Advocacy

Youth Guardian Services features a number of resources for youths who may be attracted to members of the same sex. These resources include e-mailed support lists tailored to specific age groups, and upcoming gay/lesbian-friendly colleges and health care providers.

Outproud!  This Web site from the National Coalition for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Youth offers a wide range of information, resources, and support for lesbian and gay youth and communities.

Coalition for Positive Sexuality is a web site for all teens--straight, gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender--approaches sex as a healthy and fun topic to promote positive attitudes toward sexuality. There is also a Spanish language version of this site.
